I grew up in green and leafy South West London, and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011 with a 2.1 BA in Communication Studies.
Post uni, I worked across London in Fintech PR as a Research Analyst and Account Executive, also in production and marketing roles for various environmental and mainstream TV documentaries during my early to mid twenties.
Following on from this I spent some enlightening years in creative marketing as an Account Manager and then Director, before taking some time to work in special needs education in my late twenties before taking on freelance project management opportunities.
Now, at 31, I've bought a cottage with my partner and moved to Somerset to pursue a creative freelance career, and I haven't looked back. Highly recommended!
I enjoy a life split between Somerset and London and mainly dabble in project management and content across the tech, publishing and creative industries. I feel very lucky to have gained writing experience across different sectors in the form of press releases, brand redesign, fundraising, transcription, technical documents, training courses, online content and social media marketing, advertising campaigns, and through creating educational resources.
I love to get excited about a project, however small and can bring a mix of professionalism, creativity, unique thinking and practical efficiency to my work and the messages we want to convey. Your audience will be interested and informed.
Here are a few of the clients I've worked for:
Shed Media/Ch 4
In my spare time I like to read, write, paint, as well as singing in a progressive Bristol choir. I also co-host a wellness show on my local community radio station when i'm not walking the dog, hiking, travelling, plant-based cooking or watching anything crime, design, outdoors, or female empowerment based.
I very much look forward to bringing some magic and passion to your projects!
